Applied and Load dates as full datetime

Hi!
A simple but novice question - why Applied and Load dates in DV are dates but not dates with time?
I was thinking about intraday loading patterns for DV artifacts. (For example a simple case of changing attribute value within hourly batches)
In this case it should imply the timelines (and further sat views and PITS) be more granular on minutes or secons?
And yes I haven’t met such approach anywhere in literature or internet )

Hi KostyaRico,

As far as I am aware I believe they should be DateTime so you have the audit of when the data was extracted from the source system / was applied at source and when the data is loaded into the DataVault. Ours are of a DateTime datatype.

I’m not sure i have ever seen anywhere which specifically states that they shouldn’t be DateTime.
