PKs for use in BI Tools

Hi,

When we are exposing SAT with dependent child(ren) as INFOMART, what is the Standard for creating PKs for the BI tools. BI tools expect PK in the table to perform aggregates etc.

We can create a PK using HASHKEY + DEPT_CHILD_1 + DEPT_CHILD_2 in the INFOMART. But I am not sure if this is the correct way to approach this.

I think you need and info mart here
DV should not be used by BI tools directly

(RV+BV) is the DW, IM (and with the help of QA tables) is the end2end, BI tools use IM

100% agree. I was wondering if there was a standard format for exposing formulating the compound key in IM.
